Years ago I wanted to see if I could make an omelet in a basic rice cooker. The cooker in this video is an Aroma ARC-743G, one of the simple models with a single cook switch.
I used four eggs, butter, cheese, salt, pepper, and Sriracha. There was nothing complicated about it. I was mostly curious whether the rice cooker could handle an omelet without dragging out a frying pan.
What I Used
Four eggs, butter, cheese, salt, pepper, and Sriracha hot sauce, plus the Aroma ARC-743G rice cooker.
Making the Omelet
I started by putting a piece of butter in the rice cooker. I cracked four eggs into a bowl, whipped them with a fork, and added salt and pepper.
I poured the eggs into the cooker and put the cheese on top. Then I let the rice cooker do its thing until it finished cooking on its own. I didn't time it, so I don't have an exact cook time.
When the rice cooker finished, I took the omelet out, put it on a plate, and added Sriracha hot sauce on top.

If you want the same cooker, it is an Aroma ARC-743G.
Final Thoughts
Yes, you can make an omelet in this basic style of rice cooker, and the video above shows exactly how I did it. If you like simple kitchen tests, I also have posts on air fryer brats and air fryer chicken thighs.
